Lister
Starting its life as a commercial vehicle, Aston Martin’s James Bond-inspired model has been re-engineered as a classic luxury car.

The name Lyons derives from Detroit neighbor William E. Lamont’s company General Motors of Canada Ltd., which actually built all of its examples at their plant in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada under license to build GM vehicles.

The Hypersport is packed with amenities such as diamond-coated titanium switches and speakers made from mother of pearl and Italian leather—and yes, it even has four seasons seat heaters.
Latvija
Latvia, a country in northeastern Europe, has a large and fairly prosperous economy by European standards. Its 607,200-square-kilometer territory is located on the Baltic shore of Northern Europe and incorporates 1,290 islands.
More than half of Latvia’s residents live in Riga and its surrounding region. In recent years tourism has become an increasingly important source of revenue due to Latvia’s geographic location, mild climate, and well-developed tourist infrastructure.
The official language is Latvian; Russian also enjoys co-official status in some parts of Latvia.
Laforza
The Laforza was a luxury car produced by Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1974 to 1977. The car was named after Gian Giacomo Medici di Marignano, who was also known as Il Moro (The Moor).
The new Laforza featured disc brakes, a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system, and a 2.5-liter (153 cu in) inline-four engine that was produced. It had a top speed.
A total of 524 were built. The Laforza was replaced by Alfa Romeo 1750/2000 Berlina in 1977 but was replaced by another Alfa Romeo -model; Giulia in 1982 and 145 in 1992 respectively.
LaFayette
In 1925, Walter Chrysler purchased Dodge Brothers. He named it after one of his mentors at General Motors who happened to share his middle name: Lafayette.
It was also likely a salute to Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, a Frenchman who helped America win its independence during its Revolutionary War and supposedly once said C’est la Valeur, mon che rami.

LaSalle
The LaSalle by Cadillac was a luxury automobile produced by Cadillac from 1922 to 1929.
It was an upmarket vehicle equipped with a powerful 8-cylinder engine and sold as a more luxurious companion to Cadillac’s Sixty Special.
The LaSalle was named after Antoine de la Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac, who founded Detroit in 1701 and served as Governor of Louisiana from 1682–1688.
The first Series 150 LaSalles were unveiled in New York on October 27, 1922 and immediately went into production at Cadillac’s Detroit factory.
7,078 Series 150 cars were made during its five years of production; 3,658 Series 152 cars were made from 1929 through March 1930 after which it was replaced by another new model called Standard Six.
Lambert
The Lambert, named after American physicist Albert Abraham Lambert, was a piston-engined sport plane of unorthodox design created by Lincoln Beachey in 1916.
Beachey flew it to an altitude of 17,500 feet and it won a prize of $10,000 in a competition at Chicago’s Field Columbian Exposition held later that year.
The plane was equipped with an automobile engine but only made one flight before crashing. It never went into production.
After its brief flight, the Lambert was exhibited at fairs and auto shows around America until World War I intervened. In 1918 Robert E. Pearse adapted it as an autogyro.
Lagonda
All car names that start with l include Lagonda, and it is a leading high-end luxury car brand. The company was founded in 1906, and from its founding until 1926, it produced more than a thousand cars.
Today there are only 11 of these beautiful antique vehicles in existence, so it’s truly an elite model. While most car brands that start with l offer both entry-level and luxury models, Lagonda focuses on top-of-the-line products exclusively.

Locomobile
The Locomobile was a luxury automobile built in West Springfield, Massachusetts between 1901 and 1939.
The original Locomobile Company was founded by Albert Augustus Pope. At its peak, it produced 3500 automobiles per year and was considered one of America’s preeminent luxury car makers.
The names Locomobile and Pope were synonymous; nearly all automotive historians consider any U.S.-made front-wheel-drive automobile made from 1896 to 1938 to be a Pope-Toledo.
Thereafter, production continued in England under license from Pope Manufacturing Company with different designs until 1947 when it too stopped making cars. Today, Pope-Toledo vehicles are among the most valuable on both sides of the Atlantic.
Lohner-Porsche
In 1898, a company by the name of Austro-Daimler began manufacturing automobiles in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
