Digital transformation is a strategic priority for Mercedes-Benz, which is why we have set ourselves ambitious online sales targets by 2025. To achieve these goals, new ways of working and a clear eCommerce strategy are required. The Mercedes Benz Digital is a digital entity that merges business and IT to develop the best digital solutions for Mercedes-Benz Cars. With an agile working environment and a start-up culture, the digital house offers its employees the ideal environment for creativity and innovation. The clear focus is on successful and efficient cooperation. For this reason, aspects such as autonomy and self-organization, end-to-end product responsibility, teamwork and equal partnerships are basic principles of the Digital House. Our goal is to create the most luxurious online sales experience in the automotive industry. For this, it is essential to understand our customers and to identify our strengths and weaknesses compared to the competition and to derive what the customer expects from us as Mercedes-Benz. We, in the “Around the Car – Digital Product Stores” team, design, develop and run the Mercedes-Benz Online Stores for digital vehicle-related services and thus create the strategic framework for our ambitious online sales targets. To this end, we establish close cooperation models with business partners at headquarters, in the regions and in the markets.
