Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

We’re on to Thursday, and on to Quarterfinal #4 of the 9 quarterfinals of the High School Reunion Tournament. Today’s quarterfinal features three semifinalists from the 2019 Teen Tournament: Justin Bolsen, Shriya Yarlagadda, and Teagan O’Sullivan. All three players were generally pretty evenly-matched stat-wise in 2019; I’m expecting to see a closely-contested match in this quarterfinal today.

PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they can, including any boosters as recommended. When wearing a mask, please ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

In 1977, Andy Warhol contributed an incredibly on-brand recipe to The Museum of Modern Art’s Artist’s Cookbook: a can of Campbell’s condensed tomato soup and 2 cans of milk. To cook, you bring the soup and milk to a boil, stir, and serve. Salvador Dali also contributed a recipe for a red salad, including smoked tongue. The Marginalian republished that recipe in 2016.
