When you are making a chaffle you will need to use a mini waffle maker with the Dash mini waffle maker.

If you do not yet have a Dash mini waffle maker, you are going to want one!

Ok, maybe I should just say it. I AM HOOKED ON CHAFFLES!

The amazing thing about this keto bread is that is doesn’t taste eggy at all! I know many keto breads have an eggy taste and that is why I stay away from most of them. This keto chaffle makes the most tasty keto breakfast sandwich bread I have had yet!

To be 100% honest with you, as much as I love 90 second keto bread, I LOVE this chaffle bread sooo much more! I love my keto bagels, but those take longer to make then a keto chaffle!

What is a Chaffle?

Simply put achaffleis a waffle made with egg and cheese. Now from the basic chaffle recipe you can make MANY different varieties of chaffles just changing up the type of cheese that you use.

You can also change up the flavors by adding different things to the basic chaffle recipe. There are seriously endless possibilities when making keto chaffles.

What do I cook a chaffle in?

I have been cooking my chaffles in theDash mini waffle maker. If you do not have a mini waffle iron you can grab one on amazon. They are awesome and totally budget friendly. The basic chaffle recipe will make 2 chaffles in a mini waffle maker.

You can also use anormal sized waffle makeryou make keto chaffle recipes. When using a normal sized waffle maker the basic keto chaffle recipe it will make 1 chaffle.

If you have a lot of people in your house, consider grabbingthis waffle makerthat will make 4 keto waffles at the sametime!

When I made this Keto Chaffle Breakfast Sandwich I had pork roll in the house. You can use sunny side up eggs, over easy eggs or scrambled eggs when making a keto breakfast sandwich. Keto Chaffle Breakfast Sandwich Bread Ingredients

  • egg
  • shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • almond flour
  • butter (optional)

How to make Keto Chaffle Breakfast sandwich bread

It is not needed to crispy the bread in a frying pan, but I like it better that way. I like my bread being a bit crispy. You can skip that step when you are making the chaffle keto bread if you want to.

Heat up your Dash mini waffle maker and your Dash Mini Griddle. You will want to cook your egg and your Canadian bacon or pork roll in this while making your chaffle.

In a small bowl mix the egg, almond flour and Monterey Jack Cheese.

Pour half of the batter into your mini waffle maker and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then cook the rest of the batter to make a second chaffle.

Optional step:

In a small pan melt 2 table spoons of butter. Add the chaffles and cook on each side for 2 minutes. Pressing down while they are cooking lightly on the top of them so they crisp up more. If you would like to not dirty another pan, then you can stick them in the toaster.

Remove from the pan and let sit for 2 minutes.

Top with what ever breakfast sandwich ingredients you want to use.

  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • In a small bowl mix the egg, almond flour and Monterey Jack Cheese.
