It felt like just two of the players were actually trying to win this one.
Had all three been playing to win, we might have had a different winner.
J! Curse strikes again—for Matthew Perry this time.
Kyra getting the clue referencing her husband correct was good for a laugh.
Full credit roll in this one for those who care about such matters.

Amanda was funny reacting to Kyra's Knicks miss on who was at the White House.
Ken got to deliver a NH, NF on the threesome for the 12 Days of Christmas.
Recorded on 10/11/23 popped up for the Perry clue.
DD3 had Mo leading to 22500 to 8100 to 1600 and Amanda did 8100+1000 in THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE when she did African American Studies in college. Mo wagered 5000 on DD6 and who knows if he would have bet more to to put Amanda away if she had more.
Mo just had to miss the FJ! clue to set up the "What if" game for Amanda. While Mo is likely the better option for the semis it would have been fun if Amanda went for it and stole the game in the end as I suspect her reaction would have been priceless.
I've played Banjo-Kazooie at 100% completion many times over the years, so I like that FJ! clue. I figured the category name's bark was going to be worse than its bite.
It took 8 years for Mo to get redemption playing J! and game show-size back to 1999 when he lost against Proops on WBS$.

I’m well aware of Mo and I’ve at least heard of Kyra so that puts me at 11/27.
Amanda is way behind and hits a DD in a category she kept going to and only bets $1,000? Thanks for being here tonight and Mo thanks you for helping him get to the semifinals.
I decided to look her up and saw this on Amanda’s Wikipedia page:
Then, in 2020, Seales launched Smart Funny & Black, a comedy gameshow that showcases Black culture, history, and experience
Definitely a person you’d think would make a timid bet on the Harlem Renaissance. Although the DD (and a couple other clues) really didn’t require knowledge of the subject.
The FJ took a bit to puzzle out but I got there. Mo has a warped sense of humor so I don’t know how serious his question was.

I hadn't been watching Celebrity Jeopardy as I'd never heard of most of the contestants. But when Mo's name popped up for this week's show, I knew I had to watch as I was sure he'd play both an entertaining and competent game. I'll definitely be rooting for him in the next round.
FJ felt somewhat harder than usual (at least by Celebrity Jeopardy standards). I mulled over it for a bit before pulling out the correct answer.

Clammed on the Lasik clue because I know they make a flap. Turns out there's multiple layers of cornea.

Hexagons are the Bestagons

(But actually, bees don't make hexagons, they make circles which deform into hexagons. Lazy bees.)
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
